In 2009, Nicholas Dean Outdoors partnered with the beautiful Yellow Cedar Lodge, located just outside Terrance BC. This spacious lodge, is modernly crafted out of gorgeous yellow cedar log posts & beams, and is situated on the banks of the famed Skeena River. Accommodations for up to 18 people, this lodge has all the amenities to make you feel right at home. Such as a fully equipped gym, wi-fi, HD TV, hot tub, sauna & each room has a private bathroom and most rooms have a river view.

Meals are prepared by lodge manger and Red Seal Chef Alf Leslie & his wife Simone. Breakfast is typically served home style, lunch is often stream-side and dinner is served in their cozy handcrafted rustic cedar log dinner room. Seasonal vegetables, sustainable seafood choices, as well as wild game are prepared for a truly unique dinning experience. (Please let us know of any dietary restrictions that you may have.)

The Nicholas Dean Lodge operation is located near the Alaskan border at the northwestern corner of British Columbia, in the midst of the costal BC rainforest. Surrounded by snow capped mountains, you will find this world class fly fishing destination to have several remote costal rivers for the “off the grid” experience.

Home to some of the finest Stealhead, Salmon & Char fishing in the world, the NDL has access to over 50 of the best rivers & lakes in the lower Skeena region. Rivers such as the Kalum, Copper, Kitimat, Bell- Irving, Lower Skeena & Nass River tributaries, are some choices for their experienced guides to find fishable water, when other rivers aren't fishing very well. However the Skeena river is home to the Pacific’s strongest run of large wild Steelhead & Salmon strains left in the world. These wild fish migrate each year to join the resident trophy Trout & Char that reside in the Lower Skeena. With numerous species and packages available, you will find a variety of budgets to suit your individual
