Fishing here is perfect for the well seasoned angler looking for a “Grand Slam”, or the novice looking for his/her first Bonefish. Pesca Maya has the best of both worlds, including the productive flats for Bonefish & Permit; nearby Ascension Bay or the secluded lagoons for Snook & Tarpon. It is not uncommon to see all four species in one day! It is undocumented, but more “Grand Slams” & “ Super Slams” are caught here then any other destination in the world. Along with these productive waters it is the perfect setting for any Saltwater angler; High Sun, Clear Water & Strong Breeze. Be sure to work on your Double Haul cast!
