THE LENGTH OF STAY

Standard packages include seven nights /six days of fishing. (Saturday through Saturday)

 

THE LODGING

Cinco Rios Lodge is located near the quaint South American city of Coyhaique, Chile. The main lodge is located on the banks of the Rio Simpson and the full service lodge can accommodate up to twelve guests per week. (All rooms are connected to the lodge.) Every room has two king size beds, so each angler sleeps very comfortably. While breakfast & dinner are served in the main lodge lunch is served streamside prepared by your guide.

 

BOATS & EQUIPMENT

The lodge utilizes rubber rafts with high-back seats as well as an aluminum jet boat, and Cata Rafts with Yamaha outboard jet engines. All boats are towed by the lodge vehicles with trailers.

 

THE FISHING

Anglers are in for a true adventure with Cinco Rios Lodge! Each day anglers are transported by four wheel-drive vehicles to rivers and streams. Access to streams are typically within a 45 min trip from the lodge, but can range from 30 min to an 1 1/2 hrs. Cinco rios lodge has exclusive access to many private and secluded rivers and streams that are only available to the lodge and their guests.

The lodge also fishes public water in the area such as; Rio La Paloma, upper ,middle & lower Simpson; including rios Minhuales & Aysen; lagos and boca of the Azul, Desierto, Elizalde, Frio, Castor & Pollux. Guides generally will offer two-days of fishing by jet boat, two-days wadding, and two-days by drift boat. (We can always customize that or make changes due to the fishing conditions. Each employee that Cinco Rios lodge employs has 10 plus years of guiding experience on the above waters.

 

 

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

Travelers will need a valid passport to enter Chile. However, the citizens of the United States, Canada & United Kingdom do not need a visa unless they plan an extended stay of three months or more. There is also a one-time entrance fee for the US Citizens of $100.00 USD, which also applies to the Chileans entering the US and is good for the life of the passport.

 

HOW TO GET THERE

Overnight flights from the US to Santiago or Balmaceda are available; or from Santiago to Balmaceda with a stop in Puerto Montt, along with the beautiful views of the Chilean Andes & Aisen District. Once you arrive in Balmaceda you will be picked up by a representative of Cinco Rios for a 40min drive to the lodge where your adventure begins.

Prices are based on double occupancy. Prices include six days of guided fishing, all meals, liquor , beverages, accommodations, ground transportation to & from Balmaceda Airport in Coyhaique Chile and all taxes.


Packages do not include airfare to Coyhaique, Chile, fishing license & gratuities for guides and staff. Rods, Reels & Flies.
